Profit Target

$3,000 profit target to pass the evaluation.

Maximum Drawdown

$2,000 maximum drawdown. End of Day (EOD) Trailing. Your maximum drawdown trails up at the end of each trading day based on your highest end-of-day balance. Intraday fluctuations do not affect the drawdown level. Once your balance reaches $52,100, the drawdown locks at $50,100 and no longer trails.

Daily Loss Limit

$1,200 daily loss limit. If your daily loss limit is hit, trading is stopped for the day but your account is not failed. You can resume trading the next day.

Consistency Rule

40% Consistency Rule. No single trading day's profit may exceed 40% of your total profit. Evaluation only. Largest Single Day Profit / Account Profit must be 50% or less when you reach the profit target. A cushion is built in (calculated on your actual profit for the day, so it varies) which makes a two-day pass possible — at exactly 50% of the $3,000 target that works out to about $1,560. There is no consistency requirement on LucidDaily funded accounts, and none on LucidLive accounts.

Minimum Trading Days

2 trading days required.

Maximum Contracts

Maximum position size: 4 mini contracts or 40 micro contracts.

Subscription

One-time payment. No recurring charges.

Reset Fee

$85 reset fee to restart your evaluation from the beginning.

Trading Rules

  • News trading is not permitted. Positions must be closed before major news events.
  • Positions must be closed before market close on Friday. Failure to close positions may result in an automatic breach.
  • Overnight holding is not permitted. All positions must be closed by end of each trading session (typically 5:00 PM ET for futures).
  • Hedging is not permitted. You cannot hold opposite positions (long and short) on the same instrument at the same time.
  • Holding mini and micro contracts at the same time is allowed.
  • Copy trading is permitted. You may copy trades between your own accounts.
  • Expert advisors (EAs) and automated trading bots are permitted.
  • Trades must be held for at least 5 seconds. At least 50% of your profit must come from trades held longer than 5 seconds.

Maximum Drawdown

$2,000 maximum drawdown. Trailing. Your maximum drawdown trails up in real-time as your balance increases. Once your balance reaches $52,100, the drawdown locks at $50,100 and no longer trails. The trailing drawdown stops once your balance reaches the initial amount or after a payout resets it.

Daily Loss Limit

Same as evaluation phase.

Maximum Contracts

Maximum position size: 4 mini contracts or 40 micro contracts.

Consistency Rule

None. There is no consistency rule for your funded account.

Maximum Accounts

Maximum 5 funded accounts per trader.

Inactivity Rule

Account will be closed after 30 consecutive days without placing a trade.

Activation Fee

No activation fee.

Resets

No resets available. If you breach, you must purchase a new account.

Minimum Balance

Your account balance must be at least $52,600 to request a payout.

Minimum Payout

$500 minimum per payout request.

Buffer Requirement

Payouts cannot take the balance below $52,100, a $2,100 buffer above the starting balance.

Processing Time

Payouts are typically processed within 2 business days after approval.

Path to Live

After 1 successful payout, you qualify for a live funded account. You start with $0 in the live account and build from there. LucidDaily traders enter the live review pool when they earn the Maximum Daily Profit for their account size ($8,000 on the $50K), after being paid out a significant amount lifetime, or on exceptional sim-funded performance. All live transitions are at the discretion of the Lucid risk team. Each funded account must have received at least one payout to qualify. Live accounts start with a $0 balance, End-of-Day drawdown, no daily loss limit and daily payouts; the starting live drawdown is $2,000 with the same contract limits as funded (4 mini or 40 micro). The funded buffer is used to fund the starting live drawdown and cannot be withdrawn. Sim profits above the buffer may be paid out after broker KYC, capped at $15,000 lifetime. There is no live bonus. Lucid moves traders live each evening after the 6 PM ET session report.

The Bottom Line

Last updated October 2026

Lucid Trading offers four account sizes ($25K, $50K, $100K, $150K) on Flex, Pro, Daily, and Direct, plus LucidBlack which is still sold as a legacy plan. Fees are one-time with no recurring monthly charges. The profit split is 90/10 across all accounts, with payouts typically processed in around 15 minutes. The key decision is which account path fits your trading style. LucidFlex is the most forgiving once funded: no consistency rule, and daily loss limit is optional at purchase. LucidPro keeps a 40% funded consistency rule plus a profit goal and buffer between requests. LucidDaily is the other evaluation path: funded Daily uses Intraday drawdown. LucidDirect is instant funding with no evaluation, but carries a 20% consistency rule throughout. Flex, Pro, Direct, and Daily have no fixed payout window — request any day after you meet that plan's rules.

Strengths

  • ✓90% profit split across all account types
  • ✓Rated 4.7 on Trustpilot with 325 community reviews on this platform
  • ✓30% discount currently available
  • ✓Straight-to-funded option (Direct at $329-$836)
  • ✓Payouts as fast as 3 trading days on Flex/Direct/Pro accounts
  • ✓News trading allowed

Weaknesses

  • ✗Daily accounts use EOD trailing in evaluation but switch to intraday trailing when funded until the buffer is met, which tracks unrealised gains in real time (Flex/Direct/Pro use EOD trailing)
  • ✗Operating since 2025, so long-term track record is still limited
  • ✗Consistency rule on Flex (40%, evaluation only), Daily (40%, evaluation only), Direct (20%, funded only), Pro (40%, funded only)

Lucid Trading FAQs

Yes. Lucid Trading is a US-based futures prop firm with a 4.7 out of 5 rating on Trustpilot. The firm was founded in 2025 by AJ Campanella and has a documented payout track record with verified withdrawals from funded accounts. You can read verified trader feedback on our Lucid Trading reviews.

LucidFlex removes the consistency rule entirely once you are funded, meaning one large winning day will not affect your payout eligibility. LucidPro keeps a 40% funded consistency rule. Daily loss limit is optional on both at purchase. Both use EOD trailing drawdown. For most traders new to Lucid, LucidFlex is the lower-risk starting point.

Lucid Trading payouts by plan: Flex: every 5 trading days, capped at $1,000 (25K) to $3,000 (150K) per payout; Daily: on demand (multiple per day); Pro: on demand, the first payout is capped at $1,000 (25K) to $3,000 (150K), with higher caps on later payouts; and Direct (instant funding): on demand (no fixed payout window), the first payout is capped at $1,000 (25K) to $3,000 (150K), with higher caps on later payouts. The profit split is 90% on every plan. Payouts are typically processed within 2 business days after approval. Payout methods: Plaid, Workmarket, Crypto, Bank Transfer and PayPal.

Lucid Trading drawdown by plan: Flex: end-of-day (EOD) trailing; Daily: end-of-day (EOD) trailing in the evaluation, intraday trailing once funded; Pro: end-of-day (EOD) trailing; and Direct (instant funding): end-of-day (EOD) trailing. An end-of-day trailing drawdown is recalculated from your closing balance after each session, so the floor does not move up while you trade. An intraday trailing drawdown moves up with your highest balance during the session.

LucidBlack is still sold as a legacy plan. Existing Black accounts keep their original rules.
