Loading...Futures prop firms tracked on Prop Firm Compare that are not yet verified and listed. An unverified firm has a published profile, but its account sizes, splits and rules have not been cross-referenced against the firm's official documentation through our verification process. They are compiled from public sources instead.
Unverified reflects our process, not the quality of the firm. It means the firm has not completed onboarding, so there is no PropScore and no verified offer on file, though traders can still leave reviews on its profile. Currently the only unverified firm tracked on the platform is Topstep, one of the longest-running names in futures prop trading. Verified firms appear on the best futures prop firms list. No. Unverified reflects our verification process, not firm quality. It means the firm has not been onboarded to Prop Firm Compare, so its details have not been cross-referenced against official documentation and it carries no PropScore. Topstep, the longest-running futures prop firm in the industry, is currently the only firm with this status on the platform.
Topstep has operated since 2012 and is one of the best known futures prop firms, but it has not completed verification here, so its account details have not been cross-checked against official documentation. Traders can still review it, and it currently holds a 3.4 out of 5 user rating from 38 reviews, which is separate from a PropScore.
It can be, but you take on more uncertainty because the firm's terms have not been independently checked. Reduce the risk by starting on the smallest account, reading the payout terms before the challenge rules, and requesting a small withdrawal early to test the payout process.
A firm can apply through our Get Listed page at no cost. Our team then sources its rules, fees, drawdown structures and payout terms from official documentation, cross-references them, and stores them in our standardised format with ongoing monitoring for changes. Verification cannot be bought and does not affect scoring, which is driven entirely by trader reviews. See our methodology page for more details.
Start with the trader reviews on its profile, then go to the firm's own site and read the payout terms, drawdown rules and any consistency requirements before looking at pricing. Check how long the firm has operated, whether payouts are trader-reported publicly, and whether its rules have changed recently. If the terms are unclear or hard to find, treat that as a warning sign.
Unverified firms have simply not been through verification yet. Delisted firms were previously verified and listed but were removed, for example after rule changes, ownership changes or payout problems. Both can be shown with the "show unverified" and "show delisted" filters on the comparison table.
