Showing rules specific to Apex Trader Funding Intraday Trail $150K.
Apex Trader Funding has been operating since 2021 and is one of the most established futures prop firms available. They offer two account types across four sizes ($25K to $150K), with one-time evaluation fees that drop to as little as $20 with code LAB. The profit split starts at 100%, payouts are available every 5 trading days, and you can run up to 20 funded accounts at once. The biggest decision at signup is choosing between EOD Trail and Intraday Trail drawdown. That choice is permanent for the evaluation you purchase, and the two models behave very differently in practice. The rules were also significantly overhauled in March 2026, so anything you have read before that date is likely out of date.
Apex's strongest points against most competitors are the 100% profit split, the 20-account limit, and news trading being permitted. Where it trails is in flexibility: no resets, a 6-payout cap per Performance Account, and an activation fee that some firms do not charge.
Tradeify and Take Profit Trader are the most common alternatives traders compare it against.

Yes. Apex Trader Funding is a legitimate futures prop firm that has been operating since 2021 and has paid out over $700 million to traders worldwide. They hold a 4.4 out of 5 rating on Trustpilot based on thousands of verified reviews.
The firm is US-based, founded by Darrell Martin, and is one of the most widely used futures prop firms in the space.
As with any prop firm, it is worth reading trader feedback before committing. You can see verified community reviews on our Apex Trader Funding reviews page. If you are new to how prop firms work, our guide on understanding the basics of futures prop trading covers what to look for before signing up.
There is no minimum trading day requirement, so you can pass the evaluation in a single day if you hit the profit target. You then have up to 7 days to pay the activation fee before your Performance Account goes live. The evaluation window is 30 days from purchase with no extensions. See current evaluation pricing on our Apex Trader Funding discount codes page.
The 50% consistency rule applies only to the funded Performance Account, not during the evaluation. No single trading day can account for 50% or more of your total profit since your last payout. If it does, the payout option will not appear until the percentage drops below that threshold. For firms without this rule, see our guide on no consistency rule futures prop firms.
Yes, up to 20 funded accounts simultaneously. This is among the highest limits of any futures prop firm. Copy trading between your own accounts is permitted; automated trading is not.
Apex rebuilt its entire product line on March 1, 2026. Monthly subscription fees were replaced with one-time payments, and several restrictive rules were removed, including the MAE rule, the 5:1 risk-reward restriction, and the old 30% consistency rule. Traders now choose between EOD and Intraday trailing drawdown at purchase.
Legacy accounts bought before March 2026 still run under the old rules. For more on how trailing drawdown works, see our guide on trailing drawdown futures prop firms.
