Kane’s Review of IQ Capital

Founder, Prop Firm Compare · bought a Rapid 3D 100K evaluation, now working through it on Tradovate

4.7/5Updated October 2026

IQ Capital is a newer futures firm that sells several ways in, and I went with Rapid, its plan built around faster payouts. I bought a Rapid 3D 100K with my own money, no gifted or sponsored account, and traded it on Tradovate. I am still working through the evaluation, so this review stops where my experience does. The thing to understand before buying is that the evaluation runs for 30 days, so you need to pass inside that window or pay to extend.

What I liked

One time fee: $225 for a Rapid 100K on current pricing

End of day trailing drawdown

Faster payouts than IQ Capital's Core plan, every 3 days on Rapid 3D

No daily loss limit once funded on Rapid 3D

No activation fee on Rapid once you pass

A 48 hour payout guarantee: if you are not paid within 48 hours, IQ Capital pays you a 100% split on that payout

Up to two forgiven breaches

A wide platform choice, including Tradovate, TradingView, NinjaTrader, Quantower, ATAS and DeepCharts

Code LAB takes 80% off Core, Rapid and Instant Funding accounts, and under the current offer your account fee is refunded with your first payout

Credentials arrived instantly by email

Support replied within 24 hours, and sometimes within a few hours

What to watch

A 40% consistency rule applies during the evaluation

The evaluation lasts 30 days, with a $19 fee to extend

Rapid pays an 80% split, lower than the 90% on Core

You can hold up to five Rapid accounts at once

Rapid accounts close after 5 payouts, so plan to buy a new account once you reach that limit

Rapid 3D adds a 40% consistency rule once funded, recalculated each payout cycle

My Experience With IQ Capital

I bought a Rapid 3D 100K and traded it on Tradovate. Credentials arrived instantly by email, so I could start trading straight away.

A Rapid 100K costs $225 as a one time fee with code LAB, against a list price of $1,125. It asks for $6,000 profit inside a $3,000 end of day trailing drawdown, with a 40% consistency rule. You have 30 days to pass, and an extension costs $19.

Rapid trades a lower split for faster payouts. Core pays 90% but on a slower cycle, while Rapid pays 80% and comes in two versions once funded. Rapid 1D pays daily and has no funded consistency rule, but adds a daily loss limit of $1,500 on a 100K. Rapid 3D pays every 3 days and has no daily loss limit, but adds a 40% consistency rule. I went with 3D. Rapid has no activation fee once you pass, so the $225 is the full cost of getting funded. IQ Capital also sells Instant Funding accounts that skip the challenge. The full lineup is on the challenges page.

My Payout Experience

I have not taken a payout from IQ Capital yet, as I am still in the evaluation. I will update this section once I have been paid.

IQ Capital guarantees payment within 48 hours, and pays a 100% split on any payout that misses that window. Rapid pays 80% from the first dollar, with no minimum payout. Each request can take up to 50% of your profit, and the rest stays in the account as a buffer. On a 100K, Rapid 1D caps each payout at $1,500 for the first two and $2,000 after that, while Rapid 3D caps them at $2,000 and then $3,000. You can request a maximum of 5 payouts, and after that the account is closed. Payouts are sent in USDC or by bank transfer. That is IQ Capital's published policy, not my own experience.

Which Account Would I Choose?

Kane's Pick: Rapid 3D 100K

This is the account I would choose. It is cheap for the size at $225 with no activation fee, uses end of day drawdown, has no daily loss limit once funded and pays every 3 days. The 80% split, the 40% consistency rule and the 5 payout limit are the trade. If you would rather be paid daily and can work with a daily loss limit, Rapid 1D is the alternative.

Core suits traders who would rather keep 90% and can wait longer between payouts. It can be passed in a single day with no consistency rule, and is the cheapest way in at $49 for a 50K with code LAB. Once funded, though, Core pays every 10 days, adds a 30% consistency rule and charges an activation fee of $129 on a 50K or $149 on a 100K. Core comes in two versions. Core-DLL has a daily loss limit, while standard Core has no daily loss limit and uses a maximum position loss rule instead. Compare them on the challenges page.

Who I Would Recommend IQ Capital To

Choose IQ Capital if you want faster payouts, a payout guarantee with money behind it and forgiven breaches. For comparison, see Lucid Trading.
