Trading Rules

  • News trading is permitted. You may hold trades through news events.
  • Positions must be closed before market close on Friday. Failure to close positions may result in an automatic breach.
  • Overnight holding is not permitted. All positions must be closed by end of each trading session (typically 5:00 PM ET for futures).
  • Hedging is not permitted. You cannot hold opposite positions (long and short) on the same instrument at the same time.
  • Holding mini and micro contracts at the same time is allowed.
  • Copy trading is permitted. You may copy trades between your own accounts.
  • Expert advisors (EAs) and automated trading bots are permitted.
  • Trades must be held for at least 10 seconds. At least 60% of your profit must come from trades held longer than 10 seconds.

Maximum Drawdown

$2,000 maximum drawdown. End of Day (EOD) Trailing. Your maximum drawdown trails up at the end of each trading day based on your highest end-of-day balance. Intraday fluctuations do not affect the drawdown level. Once your balance reaches $52,100, the drawdown locks at $50,100 and no longer trails. After taking your first payout, the maximum drawdown locks at your initial account balance and will no longer trail.

Daily Loss Limit

$1,000 daily loss limit. If your daily loss limit is hit, trading is stopped for the day but your account is not failed. You can resume trading the next day.

Maximum Contracts

Maximum position size: 3 mini contracts or 30 micro contracts.

Consistency Rule

20% Consistency Rule. No single trading day's profit may exceed 20% of your total profit.

Minimum Trading Days

No explicit minimum, but the 20% consistency rule means you'll need at least 5 trading days.

Maximum Accounts

Maximum 5 funded accounts per trader.

Inactivity Rule

Account will be closed after 5 consecutive days without placing a trade.

Activation Fee

No activation fee.

Resets

No resets available. If you breach, you must purchase a new account.

The Bottom Line

Last updated October 2026

FundedNext Futures offers three account sizes ($25K, $50K, $100K) across three challenge types, with one-time fees from $79. The standard profit split is 80%, rising to 95% with an optional add-on. Payouts are available every 5 days, guaranteed within 24 hours, and average around 5 hours. There are no activation fees. The main decision is which challenge type suits you. Rapid has no consistency rule at any stage, making it the most flexible. Legacy applies a 40% consistency rule during the challenge only, then removes it once funded. Bolt also applies the rule during the challenge only and is the simplest option. All three use EOD trailing drawdown, so your floor only moves at market close, not during the session.

Strengths

  • ✓Payouts available every 3 trading days
  • ✓News trading allowed

Weaknesses

  • ✗Operating since 2025, so long-term track record is still limited
  • ✗Consistency rule on Legacy (40%, evaluation only), Rapid (40%, funded only), Flex (40%, evaluation only), Direct (20%, funded only)

FundedNext Futures FAQs

Yes. FundedNext Futures is operated by FundedNext, a prop firm founded in 2022 that has paid out over $291 million to traders across its CFD and Futures programs. The firm holds over 60,000 Trustpilot reviews. You can read verified trader feedback on our FundedNext Futures reviews page.

It depends on the challenge type. Rapid has no consistency rule at any stage.

Legacy applies a 40% consistency rule during the challenge, meaning no single day can exceed 40% of your profit target, but removes it once you are funded. Bolt applies the rule during the challenge only. If the rule is breached, the profit target increases rather than the account being closed.

For firms with no consistency rule at all, see our guide on no consistency rule futures prop firms.

FundedNext guarantees payout processing within 24 hours, with an average time of around 5 hours. Payouts can be requested every 5 days once the minimum trading requirements are met. There are no activation fees and no recurring monthly costs. See current challenge pricing on our FundedNext Futures discount codes page.

All three FundedNext Futures challenge types use end-of-day (EOD) trailing drawdown. The floor only adjusts at market close based on your closing balance, so intraday fluctuations and unrealised gains do not move the threshold during a live session. For more on how this works, see our guide on trailing drawdown futures prop firms.

It depends on where in the process you want consistency rules to apply. Choose Rapid if you want no consistency rule at any stage. Choose Legacy if you are comfortable with consistency rules during the challenge but want freedom once funded. Choose Bolt if you want the simplest path on a $50K account.

All three use the same drawdown model and fee structure. For help choosing between futures prop firms more broadly, see our guide on best futures prop firms for beginners.
