How this review was done
Am not currently trading with Purdia Capital, so this review is based on its published rules rather than my own account.
Picked the account I would buy from Purdia's current lineup, the 50K EOD Evaluation.
Have not taken a payout from Purdia. The payout section covers its published rules only.
Kane’s Review of Purdia
Kane Simons (TraderKane)
Founder, Prop Firm Compare · reviewed Purdia Capital from its published rules, not currently trading with the firm
Purdia Capital is a US futures firm that sells both evaluations and instant funded accounts. I am not currently trading with Purdia, so this review is based on its published rules rather than my own account. If I were buying, I would pick the 50K EOD Evaluation. The thing to understand before buying is that the evaluation bills monthly, so how quickly you pass decides what the account really costs.
What I liked
End of day drawdown, $2,000 on a 50K
A 90% profit split
The activation fee is $1 on the current offer, against a list price of $130
Up to 5 minis or 50 micros on a 50K
Copy trading is allowed across up to 3 accounts
Daily payout requests once you qualify
A potential progression to a live brokerage account once you reach $10,000 in simulated profit
What to watch
The evaluation bills monthly, $179 a month at list price for a 50K
A $1,000 daily loss limit on a 50K
A 5 day minimum to pass
Once funded, you need at least 10 trading days, including 5 profitable days of $200 or more, before your first payout
The $1 activation fee is a promotion, and the list price is $130
Code LAB does not work with Purdia Capital
Purdia Capital's 50K EOD Evaluation
A 50K EOD Evaluation costs $89.50 for the first month with code OCT50, then $179 a month. It asks for $3,000 profit inside a $2,000 end of day drawdown, with a $1,000 daily loss limit, a 5 day minimum and up to 5 minis or 50 micros. Once you pass, there is an activation fee, currently $1 against a list price of $130.
Purdia also sells a 100K EOD evaluation, a 100K Pro evaluation and instant funded accounts that skip the evaluation for a one time fee. The full lineup is on the challenges page.
Payouts
I have not traded with Purdia or taken a payout from them, so this section covers their published rules only.
After you pass, you move to a sim funded account at a 90% split. To become payout qualified, you need to trade at least 10 days, with at least 5 profitable days of $200 or more, and reach the minimum payout balance once, $2,000 in profit on a 50K. Once qualified, you can request payouts daily. When your overall profit reaches the $10,000 sim cap, you may be moved to a live brokerage account funded with $10,000, where you keep requesting payouts. Reaching the cap does not guarantee a live account, as the move is subject to Purdia's approval. That is Purdia's published policy, not my own experience.
Which Account Would I Choose?
Kane's Pick: 50K EOD Evaluation
If I were buying a Purdia account, this is the one. End of day drawdown, a low monthly price, a 90% split and an activation fee of $1 on the current offer make it a cheap way in. The monthly billing, the $1,000 daily loss limit, the 5 day minimum and 10 funded trading days before your first payout are the trade.
The 100K EOD suits traders who want more room, with a $3,000 drawdown and 10 minis. Instant funded accounts suit traders who would rather pay once to skip the evaluation. Compare them on the challenges page.
Who I Would Recommend Purdia Capital To
Choose Purdia Capital if you want end of day drawdown, a 90% split and copy trading across a few accounts. If you would rather pay once than monthly, compare Lucid Trading.
Kane’s Purdia Review FAQs
The 50K EOD Evaluation. It uses end of day drawdown, allows 5 minis, pays a 90% split and has a $1 activation fee on the current offer.
Fairly. The drawdown is end of day and the daily loss limit stops a bad day from going further. Beginners should watch the monthly billing and the 5 day minimum.
Monthly billing, a $1,000 daily loss limit on a 50K, a 5 day minimum to pass, 10 trading days before your first payout and an activation fee that is only $1 while the promotion runs.
Not through Prop Firm Compare, since code LAB does not work with Purdia Capital. Purdia's own code, OCT50, takes 50% off the first month. Check the Purdia Capital discount codes page for the current offer.
Traders who want end of day drawdown, a 90% split and copy trading, and who expect to pass within a month or two.
The 90% split, a low activation fee on the current offer and copy trading stand out. The trade is monthly billing and a daily loss limit.
Monthly billing, a daily loss limit, a 5 day minimum to pass and an activation fee that returns to $130 once the promotion ends.
