Founder, Prop Firm Compare · bought, passed, traded funded and withdrew $15,000 from 5 x 150K LucidFlex accounts
Lucid Trading is the firm I hand to a trader who wants end of day drawdown without the reset treadmill. I bought Flex accounts with my own money, no gifted or sponsored account, passed, traded them funded and took a real payout: $15,000 across 5 x 150K Flex accounts in September 2026. The rules are clear and nothing is hidden. The main caveat is that Lucid launched in 2025, so the record is short in years, even if the volume behind it is not.
Lo que me gustó
End of day trailing drawdown, so a trade going against you during the session does not end the account
My $15,000 payout was approved in minutes and received the same session
The dashboard rules matched the published rules exactly, which is the first thing I check and the thing most firms get wrong
Flex removes both the consistency rule and the daily loss limit once funded
90/10 profit split across every product
A tener en cuenta
Pro adds a 40% consistency rule and a daily loss limit
Everything must be flat by 4:45 PM EST
Payout maximums on Flex do not scale up as you take more payouts, unlike some other Lucid products
My Experience With Lucid Trading
I started on LucidFlex because it is the lowest risk entry point in the lineup: no daily loss limit and no funded consistency rule. Checkout took the LAB code without any problems and the account was live in under five minutes, with Tradovate credentials in my inbox.
The evaluation itself is not the hard part at Lucid. Because drawdown only updates at market close, a trade that goes against you intraday does not end the account the way a real time trailing model does. That single design choice is why I point traders here when they keep losing evaluations to open losses that would have come back, rather than to bad trades.
Once funded, the rules behaved exactly as published, which is what I check first and what most firms get wrong. Everything has to be flat by 4:45 PM EST. On Flex there is no consistency rule once funded, so one large winning day does not block your payout. What Flex asks for instead is five separate days hitting a minimum daily profit during the payout cycle: $100 on a 25K, $150 on a 50K, $200 on a 100K and $250 on a 150K. Those days reset after every approved payout. Requests are capped at 50% of profit up to $3,000, so on my 150K accounts the plan was five qualifying days rather than one big one. On Pro you get faster three day payout cycles but a 40% consistency rule and a daily loss limit, so decide your sizing before you pick a product. Current pricing and codes are on the Lucid Trading discount codes page, and the full lineup is on the challenges page.
My Payout Experience
This is where firms are actually judged, and it is the reason I rate Lucid as highly as I do.
I withdrew $15,000 from 5 x 150K Flex accounts in September 2026. I requested it while I was out of the country, which is exactly the situation where a firm's payout process either works or does not. My request was approved within minutes and the funds arrived in around 15 minutes, well inside Lucid's stated two business day maximum. There was no surprise verification round, no request for extra documents after approval, and no quiet reinterpretation of the rules at the point of withdrawal.
Traders already know Lucid pays. I still test firms on my own accounts rather than on what other people report, and this one paid.
Worth separating two things people conflate here. Lucid is young, but it is not untested: the firm has processed hundreds of thousands of payouts since launch, including a single payout of $360,000. What is short is the number of years, not the volume. That matters because rule changes and payout problems tend to show up over years, not months, so the honest position is that the evidence so far is strong and the sample is still young.
That is my own experience on Flex accounts, not a promise of what anyone else will see. Payout timing depends on your product, your payment method and your own eligibility position at the time you request.
Payout verified — certificate dated 4 September 2026, $15,000.

Which Account Would I Choose?
Kane's Pick: LucidFlex
Start on Flex if you are new to the firm. No daily loss limit and no funded consistency rule means fewer ways to lose the account while you learn how Lucid behaves, and it is the product I actually traded and withdrew $15,000 from.
Move to Pro once you know your sizing fits a 40% consistency rule and a daily loss limit, and you want the faster three day payout cycle. If being paid daily matters more, Direct and Daily allow daily payout requests. Compare all products on the challenges page.
Who I Would Recommend Lucid Trading To
Choose Lucid Trading if you want end of day drawdown, a 90/10 split and payouts you do not have to chase. It suits traders who lose evaluations to open losses during the session rather than to bad decisions, and traders who want the option of daily withdrawals.
If you need more than five simultaneous accounts, compare Apex Trader Funding first. If a reward pool matters to you, look at Tradeify. My main reason for recommending Lucid is simple: I asked for $15,000 and got it, quickly, with no games.
Preguntas frecuentes de la review de Lucid Trading de Kane
LucidFlex for anyone new to the firm. It has no daily loss limit and no funded consistency rule, which removes the two most common ways traders lose a funded account. Move to Pro or Daily once your sizing comfortably fits a consistency rule.
The end of day drawdown model is forgiving of intraday moves, which helps newer traders, and Flex keeps the rule set simple. It is still a futures prop firm with real evaluation fees, so learn futures and practise in simulation before buying an account.
Holding a position at 4:45 PM EST will not breach your account. All open positions are closed automatically at that time instead, so plan trades near the close around it. Pro adds a 40% consistency rule and a daily loss limit that Flex does not have, so check which rules apply to your product. Lucid also launched in 2025, so while payout volume is already high, the record is short in years.
Yes. Code LAB is currently live, giving 40% off Daily accounts and 30% off everything else. Current pricing and active codes are on the Lucid Trading discount codes page.
Traders who want end of day drawdown, a 90/10 split and fast withdrawals, particularly anyone who keeps losing evaluations to open losses during the session rather than to bad trades. Daily payout options suit traders who care about cash flow.
Lucid leads on payout speed and clear rules in my testing. Tradeify is worth comparing for a reward pool, and Apex Trader Funding if you want to run more than five accounts at once.
The short history since launching in 2025, though payout volume is already high, plus the 4:45 PM EST flat requirement, and the extra rules on Pro compared with Flex. None stopped me recommending the firm, but they are worth knowing before you pick a product.
