About the Role

The Lab Trading Group operates three brands in the prop trading space: PropFirm Compare, The Lab Live, and TradingCoach. You own the social presence for all three. Every platform, every post, every comment. If it is public-facing and not a blog article, it runs through you.

You are not an editor. We have editors. You are the person who lives on social media, knows what is trending before it trends, and builds the pipeline so our production team can move fast. You write the hooks. You spot the formats that are working right now. You decide what gets posted, when, and where.

You report to the Content Strategist. Together you form a two-person content brain that drives the entire brand ecosystem.

Compensation

$36,000 to $54,000 depending on experience.

Quarterly KPI bonuses tied to follower growth, engagement rates, content pipeline output, and viral hits. Strong performers add $6,000 to $10,000 per year. Viral content bonuses are uncapped: $150 per post that hits 250K impressions, scaling up to $1,500 for 5M+. There is also a monthly revenue bonus when social drives measurable affiliate traffic. A superstar in this role earns $65,000 to $78,000+ in year one.

What You'll Do

Own the social media presence for PropFirm Compare, The Lab Live, and TradingCoach across all platforms
Build a daily content pipeline: identify trends, write hooks, create briefs for the editing team
Track what is working on social in the trading, finance, and prop firm space in real time
Schedule and publish content across X, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn
Monitor and engage with comments, DMs, and community conversations across all brand accounts
Coordinate with the Content Strategist on how Kane's personal content ties into brand distribution
Report weekly on performance: what hit, what missed, what we are changing
Test new formats, trends, and platform features before competitors catch on
Build a swipe file of high-performing content in the trading space for inspiration and reference

Requirements

2+ years managing social media accounts with measurable audience growth
Portfolio of accounts you have grown or content you have created that performed well
Native understanding of X, TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn
Strong hook-writing ability. You can stop a scroll in under 3 seconds
Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools (Buffer, Sprout, native analytics, or similar)
Genuine interest in trading, finance, or the prop firm industry is a strong advantage
Comfortable working remotely with a 4-hour daily overlap with GMT or EST
You consume social content obsessively and can articulate why something works
