Have not taken a payout yet. The payout section covers Vest's published process and will be updated once I have been paid.
La review de Kane sobre Vest Markets
Kane Simons (TraderKane)
Founder, Prop Firm Compare · bought and passed a $25,000 Platinum evaluation, now funded and working towards a first Vest Markets payout
Vest Markets is a different kind of prop firm from the others I review. You do not trade CME futures here. You trade perpetual contracts, margined in USDC, on Vest's own exchange, and you are paid in USDC to a crypto wallet. ES and NQ perps track the CME contracts, so index traders will recognise the price, but the account, the margin and the payout all work differently. I bought a $25,000 Platinum evaluation with my own money, no gifted or sponsored account, passed it, and I am now funded. I have not taken a payout yet, so this review stops where my experience does. The thing to understand before buying is that drawdown is measured on equity, including open losses, so it is stricter than it looks.
Lo que me gustó
One time payment with no subscription, from $40 for a $5,000 evaluation or $10 for a $500 Instant account
Static drawdown from your starting balance, so it does not trail your profits upward
No consistency rule, no minimum trading days and no time limit, so an evaluation can be passed in under an hour
No cap on how much you claim or how often, and every claim is processed within 24 hours
The order form shows an estimated fail price, so you can see where a trade would breach before you place it
News trading, weekend holding and scalping are all allowed
Backed by Coinbase, Jane Street and Portal Ventures, among others
Trading happens on Vest's own platform, so there is no third party platform or data feed to set up
Accounts are delivered instantly after buying
Support starts with an AI agent for quick answers, with a human agent available when you need one
Code LAB gets the best available discount
A tener en cuenta
These are perpetual contracts, not CME futures, and payouts arrive in USDC rather than to a bank account
The drawdown is much smaller than on a traditional futures evaluation, $1,500 on a $25,000 account, and leverage means it can go quickly
Drawdown and the daily loss limit are measured on equity, including unrealised losses, so an open losing position counts against you before you close it
The daily loss limit resets at 8:00 PM ET, and its floor is set from your balance at reset, not counting open profit
Non crypto markets lock over the weekend, so a held ES or NQ position cannot be adjusted until Monday
Account sizes are small compared with futures firms, topping out at $25,000
Breaching either limit closes the account immediately and permanently, with no warning or grace period
Refunds are only available within 3 days of purchase, and only if you have not placed a trade
You can hold up to 10 funded accounts at once
My Experience With Vest Markets
I bought the $25,000 Platinum evaluation, the largest size Vest offers, for $210. That gave me a 10% target, so $2,500, inside a $1,500 static drawdown and a 3% daily loss limit, at an 80% split once funded. I used code LAB at checkout, and the account was ready to trade instantly. When I had a question, Vest's AI support agent handled the simple ones straight away, and a human agent was there for anything it could not answer. With no minimum trading days, the evaluation can be passed in under an hour if you position yourself correctly. That speed works both ways, though, because the drawdown is far smaller than on a traditional futures evaluation.
Vest sells three ways in. The 1 Step evaluation asks for a 10% profit target with a 6% static drawdown and a 3% daily loss limit. A Bespoke version lets you pick a 10% or 20% target, a daily loss limit of none, 3% or 4%, and an 80% or 90% split. The 2 Step is cheaper, with a 10% target followed by a further 5%. Instant accounts skip the evaluation, pay a 95% split, have no daily loss limit and use a tighter 4% drawdown, or 2% on the $500 size.
All prices are one time payments. Evaluations run from $40 for $5,000 to $210 for $25,000, while Instant accounts run from $10 for $500 to $1,000 for $25,000. Evaluations are cheap per dollar of capital. Instant accounts cost five times as much or more, in exchange for skipping the evaluation and a 95% split. Either way the accounts are small next to futures firms.
The rule I would read twice is how drawdown is measured. It uses equity, checked throughout the session, so an open position that goes against you counts towards the limit before you close it. The floor itself never moves: on a Platinum account it sits at $23,500 from the day you buy it. Equity sitting exactly on the floor is not a breach, but anything below it closes the account at once. It does not trail your profits the way an intraday futures model does, but it is not a close of day model either.
The bigger point is size. A $1,500 drawdown on a $25,000 account is much less room than a traditional futures evaluation gives you, where a 150K account typically allows $4,500 or more. With up to 50x leverage on ES and NQ perps, a position can use that room up quickly. The same leverage that lets you pass in under an hour can end the account just as fast, so size down and know exactly where your floor is before every trade.
My Payout Experience
I have not taken a payout from Vest yet. I am funded and working towards my first claim, and I will update this section once I have been paid.
Paying out is a two step process. You submit a Claim Profit request from your funded account's Portfolio page, and you may need to close open positions first. Every claim is processed within 24 hours and credits USDC to your Primary Account. Claims cannot be reversed once submitted. You then withdraw the USDC to a wallet on a supported chain as a separate step. There is no cap on how much you claim or how often, and your split is fixed at purchase with no further fees taken. Only funded accounts can claim, so profit made during an evaluation is not paid out.
That is Vest's published process, not my own experience.
Which Account Would I Choose?
Kane's Pick: $25,000 Platinum evaluation
This is the account I bought and passed. At $210 it is a fraction of the $1,000 Instant price for the same size, and it gives you more room: a $1,500 drawdown against $1,000 on Instant. You give up 15 points of split, 80% against 95%, and take on a 3% daily loss limit, but you only pay that price once you are profitable.
I have not traded the Instant account, so this is based on published rules. It suits traders who would rather pay more upfront to skip the evaluation and keep 95% of profit. Compare the options on the challenges page.
Who I Would Recommend Vest Markets To
Choose Vest Markets if you already trade crypto or are comfortable holding USDC, want a cheap way in, and like having no consistency rule, no minimum days and no payout cap. It suits traders who want to trade index perps around the clock, including weekends for crypto.
If you want CME futures, larger accounts or bank payouts, compare Lucid Trading or Tradeify. I will give a firmer verdict once I have been paid. So far the low entry price and the lack of a consistency rule are what stand out.
Preguntas frecuentes de la review de Vest Markets de Kane
The $25,000 Platinum evaluation, which is the account he bought and passed. It costs $210 against $1,000 for the Instant account at the same size and gives more drawdown room. Instant suits traders who would rather skip the evaluation for a 95% split.
It is cheap to start, from $10 for a $500 Instant account or $40 for a $5,000 evaluation, and has no consistency rule or minimum days. The catches for beginners are that drawdown counts open losses, the accounts are leveraged perpetual contracts, and payouts arrive in USDC, which means managing a crypto wallet.
Drawdown and the daily loss limit are measured on equity, including unrealised losses, and a breach closes the account permanently with no grace period. Payouts are in USDC, not to a bank. Refunds are only available within 3 days of purchase and only before your first trade.
Yes. Code LAB is the Prop Firm Compare code for Vest Markets and gets the best available discount. Check the Vest Markets discount codes page for the current offer.
Traders comfortable with crypto and USDC who want a low cost entry, no consistency rule, no minimum days and no payout cap, and who want to trade index and crypto perps rather than CME futures.
Vest is cheaper to enter and has fewer rules than most futures firms, with no consistency rule and no payout cap. The trade is smaller accounts, perpetual contracts instead of CME futures, and USDC payouts instead of bank transfers.
Small account sizes, a tight drawdown that counts open losses, instant and permanent closure on any breach, USDC only payouts, and a short 3 day refund window.
