4.6/5Actualizada: September 2026

Take Profit Trader is one of the longest running futures firms I have used, and I have taken around $20,000 out of it across roughly 10 payouts. I bought 150K accounts with my own money, no gifted or sponsored account, passed the evaluation and traded them funded on PRO. The rules are clear and nothing is hidden. Two things to plan for before buying: the evaluation is a monthly subscription at $360 for a 150K, and the drawdown model changes once you get funded, getting stricter rather than easier.

Lo que me gustó

The daily loss limit has been removed entirely, so a bad session does not lock you out of the account

The consistency rule disappears entirely once you are funded, so one strong day no longer holds up a payout

Breaking consistency during the evaluation does not fail the account

Payouts available from day one on PRO rather than after a waiting period

PRO+ moves you onto live capital at a 90/10 split, so there is a route off simulated accounts

Around 24 hours or less from request to approval, then processed within 12 business hours, across all 10 of mine

KYC completed in under a day and never came up again on later payouts

Login details arrived instantly after purchase, so there was no wait to start trading

The activation fee is almost always waived, since Take Profit Trader runs a promo covering it most of the year

A tener en cuenta

The evaluation requires a minimum of 3 trading days before you can move to PRO, so there is no one day pass here. A 50% consistency rule is standard across most firms, so the day count is the real difference

The evaluation is billed monthly, $360 for a 150K, so a slow pass costs more than a single fee would

The drawdown switches from end of day in the evaluation to intraday trailing on PRO, which is the biggest rule change between stages and catches people out

On PRO the limit trails your unrealised profit in real time, so an open winner raises your floor before you close it

A buffer has to be cleared before your first PRO withdrawal

PRO adds rules the evaluation does not have: trade weekly, no bots, no counter positions, and news blackouts

There is a one time activation fee when you move to PRO, though in practice a promo usually covers it

My Experience With Take Profit Trader

I traded on Tradovate, and the login details came through instantly after buying, so there was no waiting around to get started. Take Profit Trader charges an activation fee when you move from the evaluation to PRO, but they run a promo covering it for most of the year, so in practice I have not had to pay one. Check the current offer before you buy rather than assuming, but do not treat the fee as a given. I used code LAB.

The evaluation, which Take Profit Trader calls the Test, is a single phase with a 6% profit target, so $9,000 on the 150K accounts I ran. You work inside a $4,500 end of day trailing drawdown with 15 contracts or 150 micros, and the daily loss limit has been removed, which gives you room on any individual session.

The 50% consistency rule applies here, though that is standard across most firms and not what sets this evaluation apart. Go over it and you are not failed, your target simply doubles, which is a fairer way to handle it than most firms manage.

The one real downside is the minimum of 3 trading days before you can move to PRO. Plenty of firms now let you pass in a single session, and Take Profit Trader does not. If you hit $9,000 on day one you still wait, and because the evaluation is billed monthly at $360 on a 150K, waiting has a cost attached.

The part to plan for is what happens after you pass. On PRO the consistency rule disappears, which is welcome, but the drawdown model flips from end of day to intraday trailing. It now follows your unrealised profit in real time, so an open winner lifts your minimum balance before you have banked anything. Trade up $1,000 and your floor rises by $1,000 while the position is still open. It stops moving once it reaches your starting balance, but until then it is stricter than the model you passed under.

That single change is the thing I would tell anyone to read twice before buying. Current pricing and codes are on the Take Profit Trader discount codes page, and the full lineup is on the challenges page.

My Payout Experience

I have withdrawn around $20,000 from Take Profit Trader across roughly 10 payouts on the 150K accounts I traded.

KYC was done in under a day with no repeat requests afterwards. From request to approval took around 24 hours or less every time, and once approved the payout was processed within 12 business hours. That held across all ten requests, and nothing tightened as the totals grew.

The buffer is the part worth knowing before your first request. PRO requires you to clear it before withdrawing, so your first payout takes longer to become available than the day one payout headline suggests. After that the process settles down.

That is my own record on the accounts I traded, not a promise of what anyone else will see. Payout timing and eligibility depend on your account stage, your payment method and where you sit against the buffer when you request.

Which Account Would I Choose?

Kane's Pick: PRO

PRO is where most traders will spend their time, and it is the account I traded at 150K. No consistency rule and no daily loss limit gives you real freedom in how you trade, provided you respect the intraday drawdown. The larger size also gives you 15 minis to work with, which matters more here than at firms that cap contracts tightly.

PRO+ is the one to aim for. It pays 90/10 instead of 80/20, runs on live capital rather than simulated, drops the buffer and returns to end of day drawdown. The catch is that you do not buy it. Take Profit Trader invites you, so treat it as a target rather than a plan. Compare the account sizes on the challenges page.

Who I Would Recommend Take Profit Trader To

Choose Take Profit Trader if you want no daily loss limit, no consistency rule once funded, and a genuine route to live capital through PRO+. It suits traders who take larger positions on fewer setups, since nothing forces you to spread profit across days once you are past the evaluation.

If you would rather keep end of day drawdown on the funded account, compare Lucid Trading or Tradeify, both of which keep the same model throughout. My main reason for recommending Take Profit Trader is that it paid me around $20,000 across ten requests and never made the rules harder to find than they needed to be.

Preguntas frecuentes de la review de Take Profit Trader de Kane

PRO at 150K, which is the account he traded and withdrew from. It has no consistency rule and no daily loss limit. PRO+ is better on paper, paying 90/10 on live capital with end of day drawdown, but it is invitation only rather than something you can buy.

The evaluation is straightforward, with one phase, no daily loss limit and a consistency rule that doubles your target rather than failing you. The 3 day minimum also stops beginners rushing. The catch is the switch to intraday trailing drawdown on PRO, which is stricter than the model they passed under.

The 3 trading day minimum before reaching PRO, since the evaluation is billed monthly and a 50% consistency rule is standard elsewhere anyway. The drawdown model also changes between stages: the evaluation uses end of day trailing, while PRO trails your unrealised profit intraday. There is also a buffer to clear before your first PRO withdrawal, and PRO adds weekly trading, news and bot restrictions. There is also an activation fee moving from the evaluation to PRO, though a promo usually covers it.

Yes. Code LAB is the Prop Firm Compare code for Take Profit Trader. Check the Take Profit Trader discount codes page for the current discount, and note that the PRO activation fee is usually covered by a promo as well.

Traders who want freedom once funded, with no consistency rule and no daily loss limit, and who are comfortable managing an intraday trailing drawdown. It also suits anyone who wants a path onto live capital, since PRO+ pays 90/10 on a live account.

The absence of a funded consistency rule is the standout, since most firms apply one. The trade is the intraday drawdown on PRO, where firms like Lucid Trading keep end of day drawdown throughout.

The 3 trading day minimum on the evaluation, the monthly billing while you are in it, the intraday trailing drawdown on PRO and the buffer before your first withdrawal. There is an activation fee moving from the evaluation to PRO, though a promo covers it most of the year. None stopped me withdrawing around $20,000, but they all shape how the funded account trades.
