La review de Kane sobre Legends Trading

Kane Simons

Kane Simons (TraderKane)

Founder, Prop Firm Compare · bought a 50K Elite evaluation, now working through it on Tradovate

4.7/5Actualizada: October 2026

Legends Trading is a California firm, based in Calabasas, that says it is the first prop firm built on a futures brokerage background. I bought a 50K Elite with my own money, no gifted or sponsored account. I am still working through the evaluation, so this review stops where my experience does. The thing to understand before buying is that the 40% consistency rule applies at both stages, so steady days matter all the way through.

My Experience With Legends Trading

I bought a 50K Elite and traded it on Tradovate. Credentials arrived instantly by email, so I could start trading straight away.

A 50K Elite costs $90.60 as a one time fee with code LAB, which takes 40% off. The 100K is $136.20 and the 150K is $208.20. There is no activation fee and no reset fee. It asks for $2,700 profit inside a $2,200 end of day trailing drawdown, with no daily loss limit, a 40% consistency rule and up to 4 minis or 40 micros.

The consistency rule works differently from most firms. If your best day goes over 40%, Legends says the extra amount is adjusted rather than failing the account, so you keep trading instead of starting again.

Legends currently sells two plans. Elite is a one time fee with no activation fee. Apprentice is billed monthly, from $35.40 for a 50K with code LAB, and can be passed in a single day with no daily loss limit and no evaluation consistency rule. Once funded, it adds a 35% consistency rule but needs no buffer, and charges an activation fee of $99 to $149 depending on size. The full lineup is on the challenges page.

My Payout Experience

I have not taken a payout from Legends Trading yet, as I am still in the evaluation. I will update this section once I have been paid.

Once the consistency rule is met, payouts can be requested up to twice a month, at a 90/10 split. Elite payouts are capped at $2,000 to $3,500 depending on account size, $2,000 on a 50K. Before you can withdraw, you need at least 5 winning days and profit above a buffer, which ranges from $1,000 to $3,500 depending on account size. The 40% consistency rule still applies, the drawdown stays end of day trailing, and a daily loss limit is added once funded. You also need to place at least one trade every 20 trading days or 30 calendar days, whichever comes first, to keep the account active. That is Legends Trading's published policy, not my own experience.

Which Account Would I Choose?

Kane's Pick: 50K Elite

This is the account I would choose. $90.60 one time with code LAB, no activation fee, no reset fee, end of day drawdown and no daily loss limit in the evaluation make it a cheap way in. The 40% consistency rule at both stages, a buffer and daily loss limit once funded, and the twice monthly payouts are the trade.

Apprentice suits traders who want the lowest upfront cost and a one day pass, and do not mind monthly billing and an activation fee. It also needs no buffer and has no daily loss limit once funded. Compare them on the challenges page.

Who I Would Recommend Legends Trading To

Choose Legends Trading if you want a cheap one time fee, end of day drawdown and a consistency rule that does not fail your account. For comparison, see Lucid Trading.

Preguntas frecuentes de la review de Legends Trading de Kane

The 50K Elite. It costs $90.60 one time with code LAB, has no activation fee, uses end of day trailing drawdown and has no daily loss limit during the evaluation.

Fairly. The fee is low, the drawdown is end of day and going over the consistency rule does not fail the account. Beginners should know the 50K drawdown is $2,200 and that the consistency rule stays once funded.

The 40% consistency rule at both stages, a $2,200 drawdown on a 50K, a buffer and daily loss limit once funded on Elite, and payouts limited to twice a month.

Yes. Code LAB is the Prop Firm Compare code for Legends Trading, and it is the one Kane used. It takes 40% off every plan and size, bringing a 50K Elite to $90.60 and a 50K Apprentice to $35.40 a month. Check the Legends Trading discount codes page for the current offer.

Traders who want a low one time fee, end of day drawdown and steady trading days, and who do not need payouts more than twice a month.

The low entry price and a consistency rule that adjusts rather than fails the account stand out. The trade is a slower payout cycle and a consistency rule that stays once funded.

A 40% consistency rule at both stages, a tighter drawdown on the 50K, a buffer and daily loss limit once funded on Elite, and payouts limited to twice a month.
