Kane Simons (TraderKane)
Founder, Prop Firm Compare · bought a Fast Pass End of Day 150K evaluation, now working through it on Tradovate
TradeDay is a Chicago firm that has been running since 2020, longer than most in this space. I bought a Fast Pass End of Day 150K with my own money, no gifted or sponsored account, and traded it on Tradovate. I am still working through the evaluation, so this review stops where my experience does. The thing to understand before buying is that Fast Pass starts your funded account on far fewer contracts than the evaluation allows.
Lo que me gustó
End of day trailing drawdown during the evaluation
A 3 day minimum to pass
A 45% consistency rule, looser than TradeDay's Quick Pay plans
No activation fee
An 80% split from your first payout on Fast Pass
Established since 2020
Credentials arrived instantly by email
Support replied within 24 hours, and sometimes within a few hours
A tener en cuenta
The evaluation is billed monthly, $265 a month for a 150K on current pricing
A reset costs the same as a month, $265
Funded accounts start at 4 contracts on a 150K, against 15 in the evaluation, adding one for every $2,000 in profit
Each payout needs five profitable days of $250 or more on a 150K
Payouts are capped at $2,250 per cycle on a 150K, and each payout is limited to 50% of your available profit
Code LAB does not work with TradeDay
My Experience With TradeDay
I bought a Fast Pass End of Day 150K and traded it on Tradovate. Credentials arrived instantly by email, so I could start trading straight away.
A Fast Pass 150K costs $265 a month with 50% off, against a list price of $530. It asks for $9,000 profit inside a $4,500 trailing drawdown calculated at the end of the day, with up to 15 contracts or 50 micros, a 45% consistency rule and a 3 day minimum. There is no activation fee.
The funded stage is where Fast Pass changes. You start on 4 contracts or 40 micros and earn one more for every $2,000 in profit at the end of the day. Before each payout you need five profitable days of at least $250, and each cycle is capped at $2,250. Each payout is also limited to 50% of your available profit balance. The full lineup is on the challenges page.
My Payout Experience
I have not taken a payout from TradeDay yet, as I am still in the evaluation. I will update this section once I have been paid.
On a funded Fast Pass 150K, each payout needs five profitable days of $250 or more, is capped at $2,250 per cycle and has a $250 minimum. Each payout is also limited to 50% of your available profit balance. The split is 80/20 on a funded sim account and 90/10 on Funded Live. TradeDay says most requests are processed within 24 hours. That is TradeDay's published policy, not my own experience.
Which Account Would I Choose?
Kane's Pick: Fast Pass End of Day 150K
This is the account I would choose. End of day drawdown, a 3 day minimum and a looser 45% consistency rule make the evaluation the most forgiving of TradeDay's plans, and you keep 80% from the first payout.
Quick Pay suits traders who want day one payouts and no funded consistency rule, but it pays only 50/50 until you reach $4,000 in net profit. Compare them on the challenges page.
Who I Would Recommend TradeDay To
Choose TradeDay if you want an established firm, end of day drawdown and an 80% split from your first payout. If you want full contract size once funded, compare Lucid Trading.
Preguntas frecuentes de la review de TradeDay de Kane
The Fast Pass End of Day 150K. It has end of day drawdown, a 45% consistency rule, a 3 day minimum and an 80% split from the first payout.
Fairly. The firm has been running since 2020, the drawdown is end of day on Fast Pass, and funded accounts start on fewer contracts, which encourages smaller sizing. Beginners should watch the monthly billing.
Monthly billing, a smaller contract limit once funded, five profitable days needed before each payout, and a $2,250 payout cap on a 150K.
Not through Prop Firm Compare, since code LAB does not work with TradeDay. TradeDay runs its own code, TDNEW, for new traders.
Traders who want an established firm, end of day drawdown and an 80% split from the start, and who are comfortable building contract size back up once funded.
TradeDay has a longer track record than most. The trade is monthly billing, a funded contract limit that starts small and payout caps.
Monthly billing, a reduced contract limit once funded, profitable day requirements before each payout and a per cycle payout cap.
